The product‚ Maxillo Facial Surgery Planning and Simulation System is a simulator for maxillofacial surgery that gathers the dental, cephalometric and the maxillofacial analysis together into a single computer assisted procedure. The goal of the maxillo facial surgery simulation system is to simulate maxillofacial operations on a common graphics workstation and predict the postoperative appearance of the patient utilizing 2D cephalograms and CT images of the patient.

Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
