    Abstract:

Applications: A single power driven multi utility agro device that can perform seed drilling, pit digging and tilling functions with lesser human effort and more productivity.
Advantages: 98 million out of 120 million farmers in India are marginal and small farmers who presently use rented tractors hiring paid labour. Buying dedicated seed drillers, pit diggers and tillers that will not be used throughout the year do not work out economically for a marginal or small farmer. Therefore, a single power driven multi utility agro device for marginal and small farmers, which requires less human effort with more productivity was conceived. The product can perform seed drilling, pit digging and tilling functions.

Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
