    Abstract:

Applications: eSushrut is a major step towards adapting technology in improving the quality of healthcare. Its main objective is to provide healthcare services to the masses by leveraging computing power at low cost. The beneficiary hospital shall use the Hospital Management Information System HMIS as a service and shall not undergo the challenges posed by technology, administration and implementation in computerization. The HMIS incorporates an integrated computerized clinical information system for improved hospital administration and patient healthcare. It provides an accurate, electronically stored medical record of the patient. A data warehouse of such records is utilized for statistical requirements and for research.
Advantages: Connects people, processes and data in real time across all the hospital health centers on a single platform Workflow routes documents and Information electronically Support to various national and state programs like Ayushman Bharat CM Fund etc Knowledge Based and easy to configure Application as per Hospital requirements Customized Clinical data according to each Department Laboratory etc Voice-based prescription component entry so that essential prescription elements can be spoken by the doctor Ensure the transparency in Billing Pharmacy and restrict pilferages Streamlines payment workflows UHID Identifiers for unique patient identification Provides Bar coding Interface for areas such as patient Registration Stores Sample collection et. Integrated mobile health apps for increased and easy access of services and information to patients and clinicians Access to Performance indicators help in managing resources, costs and margins Analytics and Research on captured data

THE VISION
THE MISSION
ABOUT I-STEM
It has always been the basic tenet of the Government of India, in generously funding R&D efforts at academic institutions over the years, that facilities established through such support be made available to those needing them and qualified to make use of them for their own research work

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
