Abstract:
Present invention is related to method and system for reliable and flexible framework for mobile agent distribution and execution (RF2 MADE). More particularly the present invention provides hosting facility to an autonomous mobile entity (AME) which can migrate under its own or host control from one node to another in a heterogeneous network where required resources and data may be available for completion of task assigned to it by its owner. In other words, the AME running at a host can suspend its execution at an arbitrary point, transfer itself to another host (or request the host to transfer it to its next destination) and resume execution from the point of suspension, this code is called AME or mobile agent. The mobile agents may also migrate with a clone of environment in which it is working if required, this only happen when there is need of resources at the remote destination for the completion of task.

THE VISION
THE MISSION
ABOUT I-STEM
It has always been the basic tenet of the Government of India, in generously funding R&D efforts at academic institutions over the years, that facilities established through such support be made available to those needing them and qualified to make use of them for their own research work

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
