Abstract:
The invention provides a process for recovery of potast from biomethanated distillery spentwash. The invention provides a BM-NF-ED-Ion exchange process with the objective of effluent generation with permissible salinity and concentrate generation with high value of organic and potassium which is further processed for composting and potash generation respectively.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
