Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing incense sticks. The steps of the method are: feeding dough into a cylindrical container(18); loading a plurality of sticks(26) associated with a hopper(23) that fall off through a slit(23a) of the hopper(23) one by one onto a feeder platform(23b); moving a feeder (24) in a pre-determined direction and turning it to a point where the lower portion of the feeder(24) is in connection with at least one stick; releasing the feeder(24) to push plurality of sticks(26) into a nozzle hole(21b) that surpasses a die opening(20b) outside an extruder(19) while an appropriate gap is adjusted between nozzle(21) and die(20) and coating of the dough on the sticks where a vertical component of a predetermined pressure assists the coating and a horizontal component of predetermined pressure pushes the sticks out of the die opening(20b).

THE VISION
THE MISSION
ABOUT I-STEM
It has always been the basic tenet of the Government of India, in generously funding R&D efforts at academic institutions over the years, that facilities established through such support be made available to those needing them and qualified to make use of them for their own research work

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
