Abstract:
The present invention is directed to the field of energy conservation during starting period of DFIM serving to variable speed PSPP, which saves about 35% electrical energy compared to conventional smooth starting. The proposed method reduced an energy consumption of 250 MW DFIM pump turbine during starting. It helps to save about 35% of electrical energy consumed by a 250MW hydro turbine during its starting.

Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
