Abstract:
A process for the preparation of stoichiometrically pure ceramic powder conrprising preparing a first solution of a precursor of a first metal, preparing a second solution of precursor of a second metal, mixing said first solution with said second solution to form a mixture, adding alkali thereto and collecting the precipitate at alkaline pH, subjecting the precipitate to washing followed by multiple cycles of centrifugation, wherein before each cycle of centrifugation, the suspension is subjected to treatment in an ultrasonic bath to break the soft agglomerates and finally drying to obtain the ceramic powder
