    Abstract:

Applications: 1) HealthCare Can be used as prosthetics With EMG or EEG signal controlled 2) Military Bionic hand can be attached with mobile robots thereby can be used for inspecting suspect object or even for bomb disposal from distance, reducing life risk factor to zero. Since, Bionic hand is replica of the actual hand & is control through hand gestures gives you more control & precision in carrying out such sensitive work. 3) Mines Nuclear plants Post Disaster areas similarly, can be used for inspection & exploration. Such as in harsh & confined environment & also can be used in rescue mission 4) Can be as a toy for children ( Glove controlled )
Advantages: 1) We are trying to make the product affordable by making most of its parts 3d printable which not only makes it affordable but also accessible by uploading the files over our website so anyone in need can download it, 3d print themselves. Which also gives a best consumer experience. There by attracting greater audience. Here we are addressing the problem of cost, accessibility & manufacturing time & cost & Which is the most profound problem found in Prosthetics area

THE VISION
THE MISSION
ABOUT I-STEM
It has always been the basic tenet of the Government of India, in generously funding R&D efforts at academic institutions over the years, that facilities established through such support be made available to those needing them and qualified to make use of them for their own research work

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
