Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the position (temporary) of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a SERB-DST sponsored R&D project in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Silchar.
Title of the Project: On performance of structural damage detection based on: mathematical and machine-learning models in harmony, and domain adaptation with scaled physical model using limited sensors. Sponsored Agency SERB-DST, Govt. of India.
Project Sanction Number: CRG/2021/007352
Duration: Till the project-completion date (30-Dec-2024). Please note that the project completion date may be extended if needed.

General Information and Terms & Conditions: 1. Age Limit 35 Years
2. Salary Rs.31,000/- per month for first two years as JRF and Rs.35, 000/- per month thereafter as Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
3. Relaxation on qualification and age Relaxation as per Govt of India Rules.
4. Last date of receiving/submission of filled up application form 30th July 2022
5. 6. Date of interview, time, and venue Interview date and mode (online/offline) will be notified in due course of time through email.
7. No objection certificate Employed candidates are to submit no objection certificate from his/her employer at the time of interview.
8. Institute right The Institute has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview on the basis of screening. No candidate may be recruited if suitable candidates are not found.
9. Signing of the agreement Selected candidates shall have to sign an agreement at the time of joining.
