Description : The SECM Base System is a high-resolution Scanning Electrochemical Microscope designed for mapping surface reactivity by measuring electrochemical currents. It is ideal for electrochemistry and materials science research requiring precise surface characterization. The system includes a stepper motor-controlled XYZ positioning stage (25 × 25 × 25 mm travel, 20 nm resolution), Pt microelectrodes (10 µm and 25 µm), reference and counter electrodes, and an industrial PC with TFT display, keyboard, and mouse for complete system control. It is optimized for scanning relatively flat surfaces using electrodes with diameters ranging from 10–100 µm.
