Description : Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) is an established and powerful technique for simultaneous analysis and quantification of trace elements in both liquid and solid samples. It is based on the core advanced technologies to solve the challenges of the most demanding laboratory applications. It is a type of emission spectroscopy that uses the inductively coupled plasma to produce excited atoms and ions that emit electromagnetic radiation at wavelengths characteristic of a particular element. During analysis the intensity of the light emitted at specific wavelengths is measures and used to determine the concentration of the element(s) of interest.
