Description : 1.DC motor driven DFIG system rated 2.2 kW 2.Real time wind profile simulation 3.MPPT tracking 4.The DC machine is controlled by a chopper to emulate wind characteristics. 5.The rotor part of the slip ring induction machine is connected to grid through a rotor-side and a grid-side converter. 6.The stator part of DFIG machine is directly connected to the grid through a relay contact. 7.The entire system is controlled by a WAVECT FPGA controller.
