Description : A vibrating-sample magnetometer (VSM) is a scientific instrument that measures magnetic properties based on Faraday’s Law of Induction. VSM is used to measure the magnetic properties (magnetic moment and coercivity) of liquids, powders, or bulk samples. It allows the temperature and field dependent magnetic moment (M-T and M-H) characterization of the samples in the field range of ± 2.0 T. It moves a sample up and down at a set frequency, typically 75Hz. It cannot be used on fragile samples. The temperature range is 77K (one point) and 100K -1050 K (Controlled)
