Description : An abrasive water jet machine (AWJM) involves a high-pressure (60,000 psi) stream of water mixed with abrasive particles to cut materials of varying densities and thickness. It offers a versatile, precise and efficient cutting for various materials, including metals, naturals, composites, plastic and rubber. AWJM cuts all types of metals: titanium, tool steel, aluminium, and a variety of metals that are difficult to cut with other processes. With low piercing, it can machine brittle materials also. In addition, it can cut intricate shapes in no time without any heat-affected zone. Abrasive water jet machines are used for a wide range of industries including, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and food processing.
