Description : A surface sensitive analysis technique/tool using a monocohromated Aluminium K-alpha X-Ray (1486.6eV) with variable spot size (5-400 micrometer) and a 180 degree Hemispherical analyser using detector with 128 channels for reliable and rapid data detection and collection housed in UHV conditions using Turbomolecular and Titanium Sublimation pumps .For charge compensation during measuremnts the system is equipped with a dual beam flood gun. Argon ion gun allows for sample etching and depth profile measurements.The system is also equipped with a UV source for UPS measurements.
