Description : This high-throughput instrument is a benchmark for reliable quantification with a high quantitative sensitivity, robustness, and performance. Equipped with linear ion trap (LIT) technology, the platform is suitable for therapeutic drug monitoring (ADME), regulated bioanalysis, food and environmental contaminant screening, drug discovery and development, targeted quantitative proteomics, or clinical research. The QTRAP 45000 mass spec technology offers scope beyond basic multiple reaction monitoring (MRM), and offers Dynamic detection range for low to high concentration levels and mass ranges (Triple quadrupole: 5 – 2,000 Da; LIT: 50 - 2,000 Da) at ultra-fast scan, enables qualitative and quantitative analysis of the analytes. The platform is currently used for performing parallel, multiplex expanded Newborn Screening (ENBS) in JSS Hospital, Mysuru. The test targets quantification of about 42 analytes (including 13 amino acids and 29 acylcarnitines) associated to inborn errors.
