Description : This machine is used for testing the strength, elongation at break and compression properties of leather, footwear, garment, good and polymeric film, rubber, textile, coated fabric and any sheet materials under tension or compression mode. The two columns of the main frame provide precise guidance to the moving cross head. The speed of the moving cross head can be adjusted, controlled or varied speed from 0.1mm to 500mm per minute. The load cells capacity available 0.1, 5, 10, 50 KN and are interchangeable and are mounted above or below the cross heads depending upon the nature of the tests. The grips are selected to suit the specific test. Specimen holding devices to grip the specimen of different shapes, dimensions and characteristic are available. The clamping force can be applied mechanically or pneumatically. Exenstion meter is available to check the accuracy of the strain. The speed with which the load is applied can be controlled by and external PC connected to the equipment
