Description : The JEOL JEM 2200FS is an advanced and unique transmission electron microscope(TEM) that covers a range of imaging mode and spectroscopic applications. The state of art analytical equipment, eqipped with schottky FEG need no dark room and produce rotation-free images. The main frame of the TEM is mounted on a passive type air mount and supported with oil free vacuum pumping systems. The instruments has in-column W filter that makes it suitable for EELS study. The microscope is also equipped with STEM with minimum probe size 0.2 nm. STEM mode benifits with HAADF, with 80mm2 SDD detector ideal for point analysis and elemental mapping analysis.TEM images are recorded didgitally on a Gatan 2k *2k CCD camera. The TEM has other facilities like HR-TEM, NBD and CBED.
