This unique training initiative is designed to bolster expertise, promote scientific innovation, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations, thus playing a crucial role in advancing the region’s scientific landscape.
The Advanced Analytical Instrumentation I-OTP), organized by the Indian Science, Technology, and Engineering facilities Map (I-STEM) in collaboration with PU-IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations Foundation (PI-RAHI) and Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility (SAIF), PU Chandigarh, is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the Northern region. The event, scheduled for 18th–20th February 2026, aimed to provide cutting-edge training to operators and researchers on advanced analytical instruments. It covered fundamental and advanced aspects of instrumentation, enabling participants to effectively use state-of-the-art technologies for scientific and industrial applications. Through hands-on training and expert-led sessions, the workshop seeks to enhance the capabilities of researchers in utilizing complex analytical tools for precise data collection and analysis. By fostering a deeper understanding of these instruments, the program will contribute to the growth of scientific research and innovation across multiple disciplines in the Northern region.
